You've seen our hashtag, and trademark, #LocalSustainablePure, but do you know what that means?
The Bible, in Isaiah 42:6, commands Jews to be "lights unto the nations," (לְאוֹר גּוֹיִם) to our family, that's a practical calling, and it's perhaps the biggest reason we do what we do.
We are far from perfect, holy Tzadikkim, but that doesn't keep us from our desire to serve you, our community to the best of our ability, and to have you come along side us in serving as many in our community as possible.
This is what Local-Sustainable-Pure(TM) means to us and how these values reflect our desire to serve you:
Love Local: Located, right here, near Colorado Springs, you are our community and we want to serve you through classes, events, outreach, donations and more.
Love Sustainable / Regenerative: Regenerative environmental stewardship, guided by biodynamic principles to care for our earth, our animals and our environment in a local, direct and meaningful way.
Love Pure: Without chemicals and without compromise, our food is literally the purest you can find - Period! We also consider purity to tie everything we do together: in business, in intention and in how we grow!
We know we arent perfect in fulfilling these values perfectly every time, and if we fail, which we will, we hope you will come along side us, help us and support us in the mission we intend to dedicate ourselves to.
Isaiah 42:6 - וַיֹּאמֶר, נָקֵל מִהְיוֹתְךָ לִי עֶבֶד, לְהָקִים אֶת-שִׁבְטֵי יַעֲקֹב, ונצירי וּנְצוּרֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל לְהָשִׁיב; וּנְתַתִּיךָ לְאוֹר גּוֹיִם, לִהְיוֹת יְשׁוּעָתִי עַד-קְצֵה הָאָרֶץ.
'It is too small a thing that you should be only My servant to raise up the tribes of Yaakov and to restore the children of Yisrael; I will also make you to be a guiding light unto the nations, that My salvation may be spread to the ends of the earth.'
